For more than a decade, the rose has run through my work. In Roses, blooms crowd the canvas in fields of gestural line and saturated color—less still life than living rhythm, each flower caught at the moment it opens to the world. The series turns a familiar subject into pure motion, energy, and a distinctly Caribbean charge.
